Emergency Management

The mission of the Holmes County Emergency Managment Office is to coordinate response and recovery efforts in Holmes County in the wake of catastrophic events. Holmes County Emergency Management is also responsible for coordinating mitigation and preparedness activities in the County. Through planning and education Holmes EM helps to prepare Holmes County citizens, businesses, and government agencies for threats from hurricanes and tropical storms, other weather emergencies, as well as man made or technilogical emergencies such as hazardous material spills and wild fires. Holmes County EM will coordinate with and support the State of Florida Emergency Management Team.
